Strawberry season is now well under way and what a fantastic season it has been. Eating strawberries in July is the perfect time to enjoy them, at their best!
We often get asked the best way to prepare and enjoy our strawberries, so here are some of our top tips!
- When buying your strawberries always look for firm red berries.
- When you get them home store them in the refrigerator but keep them dry. The best place for them is in the crisper drawer which can help to maintain humidity and keep the berries from losing moisture.
- Don't wash until ready to eat, and serve at room temperature for a sweeter fragrance and greater flavour.
- If you have any left don’t forget to freeze them to enjoy in smoothies and recipes later.

1) The classic - Simply with cream
